The Jubilee campaign is an international effort to achieve debt cancellation for the world's poorest countries. Begun in the early 1990’s, the Cancel the Debt campaign is based on the Biblical concept of the Year of Jubilee, a time when debts are canceled, slaves set free and right relationship is restored among peoples.

Jubilee NW is a local chapter of the Jubilee USA Network and is a coalition of churches, groups, and individuals.Together we keep updated on debt and debt related issues, and plan events to raise awareness about the impacts of debt on the world’s poor.

Jubilee Congregations support the Jubilee movement with one dollar and one letter of advocacy per member each year
